OXNARD : Malibu Woman, 26, Dies After Crash

A 26-year-old Malibu woman died Saturday morning after she lost control of her station wagon on Pacific Coast Highway in Oxnard, authorities said.
Kristine Rene Bendiksen died of head injuries at 2:55 a.m. at St. John’s Regional Medical Center, said Ventura County Deputy Coroner Craig Stevens.
Bendiksen was driving north on Pacific Coast Highway south of Pleasant Valley Road about 2 a.m. when she lost control of her car, which rolled over several times and came to rest upside down, police said.
She was wearing a seat belt, the California Highway Patrol said.
