Smart, Pastorelli Cast in ABC ‘Yarn Princess’

Jean Smart, formerly of “Designing Women,” and Robert Pastorelli, a co-star on “Murphy Brown,” are paired as wife and husband in “The Yarn Princess,” a TV movie for ABC next season.

The film focuses on the wife’s efforts to keep her family together after her husband is incapacitated by illness. She gets help from a social worker played by Giuliana Santini, formerly of “Homefront,” and Dennis Boutsikaris, formerly of “The Jackie Thomas Show.”
