Egyptian police have arrested 60 suspected Muslim militants and seized a large amount of weapons and explosives in a sweep across one-third of the country over the last few days, security officials said. They said the 60 were wanted in connection with attacks by Muslim militants during a wave of violence in which at least 146 people have been killed and 300 wounded over the last 15 months.
