Trimedyne Inc.: The Irvine medical laser manufacturer said it lost $561,000, or 6 cents a share, for its third fiscal quarter. That compared to a loss of $586,000, or 7 cents a share, for the comparable period a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was up 14% to $3.3 million from $2.9 million. For the first nine months of its fiscal year, the company reported a loss of $616,000, or 7 cents a share, compared to a loss of $2.1 million, or 27 cents a share, a year earlier. Nine-month revenue rose 47% to $11.2 million from $7.6 million.
