Los Angeles Ad Agency Considers Closing: Campbell & Wagman is on the brink of calling it quits. The seven-year-old agency said its key client, First Interstate Bancorp, is putting its estimated $20-million-plus account up for review. The agency has relied heavily on First Interstate for its business--an uncomfortable but sometimes necessary relationship for several Los Angeles agencies. Craig Campbell, president, said the agency has not yet decided if it will participate in the review and may close by year’s end.
