Cold Front May Bring Showers

Southern California will have a chance of showers Saturday as a cold front moves through the area, the National Weather Service said.
The front was expected to produce mainly showers, with the coast receiving 0.3 to 0.6 of an inch of rain while the mountains could receive 1 to 2 inches. The front will move inland by Sunday, leaving the area cool and windy.
Increasing clouds were expected overnight with a slight chance of showers in northern mountain ranges and winds to 25 m.p.h.
Saturday highs will be 35 to 45 in the mountains with the snow level at 5,000 feet, falling to 4,000 feet later in the day. The beaches will have highs in the 50s, with 60s in the southern deserts.
