COLLEGE FOOTBALL / DAILY BOWL REPORT : COPPER BOWL : Wyoming, Kansas State Play Tonight

Associated Press

Wyoming will be looking to halt a recent postseason losing tradition and No. 20 Kansas State is out to make school history when the teams meet tonight at 5 p.m. at Tucson, Ariz.

Wyoming (8-3), which shared the Western Athletic Conference title with Fresno State and Brigham Young, caps its centennial season of college football with a return trip to the Copper Bowl, its first postseason appearance since 1990 when it lost to California.

This is only the second bowl game for Kansas State (8-2-1) in 98 years of football. The Wildcats, who finished third in the Big Eight this year, lost to Wisconsin in the 1982 Independence Bowl.
