PLACENTIA — Brea-Olinda used a 9-0 run midway through the second quarter to end any suspense, and the Ladycats cruised the rest of the way to a 65-36 victory over Torrance Bishop Montgomery in the Southern Section Division III-AA girls’ basketball semifinals Saturday night at El Dorado High School.
Brea-Olinda (28-0) will face Newport Harbor Saturday in the finals at Cal Poly Pomona, looking for their sixth section title in as many years.
