Times Mirror to Acquire Ehrlich Multimedia: Times Mirror Co. said it has acquired Ehrlich Multimedia, a Park Ridge, N.J.-based developer of multimedia software, for an undisclosed price. Ehrlich Multimedia has designed informational CD-ROM products for organizations such as Business Week, Johnson & Johnson and Sandoz Pharmaceuticals. The company is currently developing software titles on science and health topics, and plans a series of products for children. Los Angeles-based Times Mirror owns the Los Angeles Times, New York Newsday, and The Baltimore Sun. It also publishes magazines and books and operates 13 cable television systems.
