ARCADIA : Official’s Son Questioned in Removal of Challenger’s Sign

The son of a councilman seeking reelection in April is under investigation for allegedly removing an election sign of an opponent of his father’s, according to police.

Robert Fasching, son of Councilman George Fasching, is one of three young adults the police interviewed in relation to the removal of a campaign sign for challenger Sheng Chang from a lawn in Cortez Road area Saturday, said Capt. Dave Hinig. No one has been arrested, but investigations are continuing into the removal of other Chang signs, Hinig said.
