George Stavropoulos has been appointed to head the special investigation unit of Western United Insurance Co. in Newport Beach. Before joining the company, he was associate director of the special investigation unit for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. Stavropoulos’ experience also includes 12 years with the Newport Beach Police Dept.
