* Gary Swon has joined Option One Mortgage Corp. in Santa Ana as senior vice president of the new commercial mortgage finance division. Swon was previously managing director of the commercial real estate finance division of Equitable Life Insurance Co. of Iowa. Before that, he was vice president of the structured finance group of Merrill Lynch Capital Markets Inc. in Los Angeles.
