*** Chris Walker, “Sincerely Yours,” Pendulum/ERG. At first listening, Walker hardly seems distinguishable from other soulful balladeers of the Peabo Bryson/ James Ingram variety. It’s as a songwriter that Walker shines, be it on the frisky invitation of “Do Me”--or “Love Tonight,” on which he extends his attention to a single mom who’s more concerned with unpaid bills than a casual fling.
