New Magazine: Two South County publishers have agreed to work together to create a new magazine, Laguna Life.

One publisher is Brad Wright of Community Services Network Inc., which produces South Coast, Orange County Arts and several magazines with location titles: San Juan Capistrano, Elsinore, Oceanside, Escondido and North County. The other is Deborah Long, publisher of the 45-year-old Laguna/California Riviera magazine.

For the new venture, Wright will serve as publisher and Long as editor.

Laguna Beach residents “have missed having their own magazine,” Long said. The focus will be on entertainment, where to go and what to see, she said.

The quarterly magazine will initially be distributed free to homes.
