Chris Kilpatrick has been chosen to fill the new position of vice president and general counsel for Interplay Productions Inc., an Irvine-headquartered manufacturer of entertainment and educational software. Before joining the company, Kilpatrick was a partner in the law firm of Stradling, Yocca, Carlson & Rauth in Newport Beach, where he specialized in representing interactive multimedia companies. In addition to Kilpatrick’s appointment, Interplay named Ali Atabek a producer. He was formerly the president of Mind Craft, a developer of entertainment software.
