Motorola, AirTouch to Work Together on Paging Technology: Motorola Inc.’s Global Paging Infrastructure division and AirTouch Paging will conduct tests in Dallas using the personal communications services license that AirTouch Communications Inc. won at a Federal Communications Commission airwaves auction in July. Motorola will provide engineering models of advanced two-way messaging systems and two-way pagers. AirTouch will operate the network being tested. The agreement also gives AirTouch the ability to purchase the newest PCS technology from Motorola through Jan. 1, 1997.
