HUNTINGTON PARK : City Offers Housing Improvement Loans

The city of Huntington Park is offering loans with little or no interest and rebates to qualified home and rental property owners for necessary property improvements.
Loans are available for roofing, plumbing, aluminum windows, outdoor stucco, electrical upgrades and additional room construction.
Homeowners can obtain up to $25,000 in loans and/or up to 50% reimbursement for a maximum of $4,000 in rebates. Rental property owners can obtain up to $20,000 per unit (not to exceed $120,000) in loans.
All funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis from the Residential Rehabilitation Program and are administered by the Community Development Department.
