SOUTH GATE : Opinions Sought on Cable TV Franchise

The City Council has scheduled a public hearing on whether to renew the city’s cable television franchise.
Residents are invited to comment on the quality of service provided by Cable Television Co.
The council will consider testimony before deciding whether to renew the franchise agreement or to contract with a different cable firm. The contract is scheduled to expire in two years.
The hearing will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.
