San Clemente’s Samperi Says He’ll Attend USC

San Clemente High offensive tackle Brett Samperi, a Times All-Orange County first-team selection, said Tuesday he has made an oral commitment to play football at USC.
The 6-foot-5, 270-pound Samperi was a three-year varsity starter at San Clemente and was an All-South Coast League selection as a junior and senior. He said he will probably be a redshirt his freshman season.
