GARDEN GROVE : School Forum to Offer Parents Discipline Tips

Riverdale Elementary School will have a parent education night Thursday to offer strategies on disciplining children in a positive manner.
District psychologists will offer tips on effective discipline and show parents how to encourage communication with their children, said Alan Trudell, a spokesman for the Garden Grove Unified School District.
The forum, which begins at 6 p.m., will be in the multipurpose room at the campus, 13222 Lewis St. It is free and open to the public. Free child care and Vietnamese translation will be provided, Trudell said.
