The Sunday Travel section of The Times is the highlight of my weekly reading! Our family has enjoyed several memorable trips based on your informative articles. We took a week’s vacation in South Dakota’s Black Hills. It was a marvelous trip, jam-packed with daily excursions. We were amazed at the diversity of offerings, from the majesty of Mt. Rushmore to the labyrinth of Wall Drug on Interstate 90, eight miles north of Badlands National Park (surely the most gigantic souvenir store on the planet!). The Black Hills is abundant with family-oriented activities and relatively inexpensive.
