In reference to “Lawyer Fees in State Hit $16 Billion in ‘92,” Jan. 15:

Lawsuit abuse is driving businesses from California in droves! Can you blame them for leaving? They are looking for a business-friendly state. Businesses create jobs which we need. Lawyers who create frivolous litigation are detrimental to our economy. California needs a very strong tort-reform law.
