USAir Loses $332 Million in 4th Quarter: USAir Group Inc., plagued by labor troubles, high costs and two crashes during the past year, said the loss amounted to $5.63 per share and compared to a loss of $116.5 million, or $2.29 per share, for the period a year earlier. Chairman Seth E. Schofield announced immediate steps to cut operating expenses, including shrinking the airline’s operations.
