Search Continues for Boy, 13, Who Vanished in Ocean

The search continued Sunday for a 13-year-old boy who disappeared while swimming off Manhattan Beach the day before and who went under just before a lifeguard could reach him.
Los Angeles County Lifeguard Lt. Bob Schroeder said divers searched for the boy, whose identity was not released. He was presumed drowned after Saturday’s incident.
