Ventura Medical Clinic’s Education Program Cited

The patient education department at Buenaventura Medical Clinic, based in Ventura, has received Health Net’s Aim for Wellness award for the fifth consecutive year.
In making the award, Health Net, a large health maintenance organization, described Buenaventura’s education program as “one of the very best in our network.”
The program, headed by Georgia Carlson, offers classes in such subjects as smoking cessation, prenatal care, stress management, nutrition and weight control.
