Fire Damages Shuttle

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. — A small fire erupted when technicians were doing routine maintenance on the space shuttle Endeavour, and the spacecraft was slightly damaged, NASA said Friday.
Thursday night’s accident happened when workers tried to disconnect a thruster from the shuttle, said NASA spokesman Bruce Buckingham.
