Krause’s Furniture Inc.: The Brea owner of Krause’s Sofa Factory posted a net loss of $991,000, or 9 cents a share, for the first fiscal quarter, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $608,000, or 6 cents a share. Sales for the quarter ended April 30 increased 16% to $32.3 million from $27.8 million.
