Suspect in Burglary Suffers Unkindest Cut

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A man who cut himself while breaking into an apartment bled so profusely that he called 911 from the crime scene, police said.
Deputies found Jerry Wilson lying in a bedroom of Melinda Lanham’s ground-floor apartment. Police said he cut himself breaking a front window Monday.
He was charged with two counts of burglary and jailed in lieu of $25,000 bond.
