Obscene irony--Orange County is bankrupt, but its premier company, having spent 40 years exploiting the county work force, making Anaheim hideous and contributing significantly to freeway gridlock, managed to sock away $19 billion to buy ABC. No wonder they call it the happiest place on earth.
