North Hills : Unidentified Man Found Fatally Shot

A man was found fatally shot in Nordhoff Street early Thursday, police said.
Police officers responded about 3:30 a.m. to a report of shots fired in the 15300 block of Nordhoff Street, near Burnet Avenue, Los Angeles Police Sgt. Bruce Cowan said. The officers found a man lying in the roadway with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. The victim, who appeared to be about 25 years old, has not been identified, and no motive is known, Cowan said.
