Canyon 30, Righetti 22--Shawn Kelso rushed for two touchdowns and caught a 15-yard touchdown pass for the Cowboys in a game at Canyon.

Canyon quarterback Ahjeron Palmer completed four of eight passes for 54 yards and one touchdown and rushed for 139 yards.

Kelso capped a six-play, 53-yard drive with a 42-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. He added a 15-yard TD run in the third quarter, giving the Cowboys a 23-16 lead.

Monte McKeon rushed for 86 yards in 11 carries for Canyon.

Righetti’s Robert Villa rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns in 20 carries for the Warriors. His three-yard touchdown run cut Canyon’s lead to 30-22 with four minutes to play.
