Was the Aug. 27 article on Garry Shandling (“Why Isn’t This Man Smiling?,” by David Kronke) supposed to be a parody on the cliched, self-absorbed, angst-ridden comedian? The pretentious “suffering” photo was a riot.
Shandling takes himself way too seriously and hasn’t Albert Brooks’ knack for making his egotism funny.
A Garry Shandling movie? Are you kidding? Didn’t anybody see this guy host the Grammys?
