Exxon Affiliate Forms Oil Additives Venture: Exxon Chemical Eastern Inc. and Sinopec Jinzhou Petrochemical Co. said they have agreed to establish a joint venture to build and operate a motor oil additives plant in China. Terms were not disclosed. The Exxon affiliate and Sinopec will have equal ownership in the Jinex Additives Joint Venture Co., which is expected to begin production in the second half of 1996. Sinopec is among China’s largest manufacturers of lubricant additives and specialty chemicals.
