Host Marriott Corp. Wins LAX Contract: The Bethesda, Md.-based hotel and food management company said it will run the California Pizza Kitchen, Cheesecake Factory, Johnny Rockets, Chili’s Pub, Starbucks Coffee, Au Bon Pain, Burger King, Haagan Dazs and TCBY franchised concessions, among other food and beverage concessions, at Los Angeles International Airport. Financial details of the 10-year contract, awarded by the Los Angeles Department of Airports, were not disclosed. The City Council must still approve the arrangement.
