Orange Lutheran’s team manager, Jeff Wesson, said assistant football coach Mike Monarch, a UCLA graduate, dislikes rival USC so much that he had the color gold removed from the Lancers’ traditional red, white and gold uniforms. Athletic Director Nancy Paul isn’t sure how the color change came about. Anyway, she roots for Stanford.
