LA HABRA : Anderson Targets Parks, La Habra Blvd.

As the city’s mayor for the coming year, Steven C. Anderson has pledged to push for more youth activities and parks, and to create a task force to find ways to revitalize La Habra Boulevard.
After being chosen mayor by his City Council colleagues, Anderson said he will seek business owners, architects, a traffic engineer and commercial and residential real estate representatives to serve on a La Habra Boulevard task force that would report to the council.
“How can we promote business and maintain our residential property values if our city travel-ways look like abandoned desert highways?” Anderson asked.
Anderson, who is a supervisor for Anaheim’s Utility Department, said he also wants to help restore and expand city parks.
