Enough already. Your paper is treating the return of Magic Johnson like the return of Jesus Christ. I think you’re feeding his ego a little too much. His 3-year-old has seen him play before and doesn’t know one uniform from another, so that as a reason to return doesn’t hold water.

Give your readers a break. There are other guys on the Lakers that deserve attention too.
