2 to Head Bear Stearns Media Unit

Alan Mnuchin and Michael Yagemann have been named co-heads of the media and entertainment group of Bear, Stearns & Co.

Mnuchin joins the firm as a senior managing director from Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was a vice president in the investment banking division’s communications, media and technology group.

Yagemann, a senior managing director who now serves as head of the media and entertainment group, will relocate from Los Angeles to New York.

Bear Stearns was the top-ranked investment bank in mergers and acquisitions in 1995.
