Conoco Forms Partnership Based in Irvine

IRVINE — Conoco Inc., a unit of DuPont Co., has purchased the natural gas and power marketing assets of Mock Resources Inc., forming a partnership called Mock Energy Services that will be based in Irvine. Terms were not disclosed. Conoco bought the majority interest from Wickland Oil Co. in Sacramento, which will keep Mock Resources’ oil assets. Brian Mock is president of the new partnership.
