Debate Champions to Perform Friday

Members of the Saddleback Community College District speech and debate team, the nation’s top-ranking community college debate team, will give a public demonstration Friday.

Team members will perform in the Irvine Valley College Forum Theatre at 7:30 p.m., giving examples of informative, persuasive and after-dinner speeches and literary interpretation.

The event will feature the top individual and group speakers from league, state and national championships.
