TALL TALE

If Tom Engelman and Mike Cohn want to make a buck with an outrageous parody of “Snow White,” fine (“ ‘Snow White’ on Prozac,” by Peter Green, May 5). But puh-leeze spare us the tarting up of their P.T. Barnum enterprise with mega-columns of intellectual pomposity.

If Green thinks Engelman is “like a literature professor,” I suggest he needs to meet more professors--quite a lot of them can read. I have a PhD in literature and if any idiot told me that “seven dwarfs” means “seven strange people” and that “It’s really Freudian,” I’d be smoking to the DROP SLIP window.
