One person very eager to see Morissette in concert was Grace Slick, the former singer of the Jefferson Airplane and Starship--so much so that the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, 56, ended her seven-year moratorium on concert attendance to see Morissette at the Greek Theatre last weekend.

“She’s who I want to be reincarnated as,” said the ‘60s female rock icon of the ‘90s female rock icon. “If anyone had asked me when I was 24 who I would want to be, if I’d known about Alanis back then, I would have said her.”

Of course, Morissette wasn’t even born until 1974.
