Although it won’t be colored blue, the full moon on June 30 is the second full moon this month in the Pacific time zone, making it a “blue moon”. While the moon is full at the same instant for any place on Earth, that instant is expressed uniquely in each time zone. In the Atlantic time zone and other zones farther east, there will be two full moons in July, rather than June.
