Credit Where Credit Due

It cannot be stated often enough that screenwriters receive comparatively minuscule credit for their efforts. Case in point: the ad for the movie “Courage Under Fire.” The director is lauded, with two of his previous movies noted. Why not mention, at least in addition, the screenwriter, Patrick Sheane Duncan, and his previous hit, “Mr. Holland’s Opus”?
