ICN Finalizes Purchase of Firm

COSTA MESA — Drug maker ICN Pharmaceuticals Inc. said Friday that it has completed its purchase of a radiation-monitoring business from Germany’s Siemens AG. Terms were not disclosed.
Siemens Dosimetry Service, based in Illinois, provides badges to monitor workers’ radiation exposure, calculate the exposure and maintain exposure histories.
The unit, which has 60 employees, had sales of $9.3 million for its last fiscal year.
