Re “Mother in Fatal Crash Guilty on Lesser Count,” Aug. 10.
Another jury, another verdict.
In the case of Lesia Smith-Pappas, justice took another backseat. The jury gave us some interesting messages:
* It’s all right to endanger a child’s life.
* It’s all right to drive recklessly.
* It’s all right to view things: “It was a guy thing/gal thing.”
Give us a break!
