Polite Curmudgeon

Please tell your readers that the name of our band is Brad Kay and His Uptown Curmudgeons of Swing and not the Young Curmudgeons, as Charles Champlin called us in his Sept. 3 article (“At Dueling Weekend Fests, High Spirits, Small Crowds”). We are curmudgeonly enough to insist that The Times report our name correctly.

Also, would whoever has our three Curmudgeons music stands that mysteriously disappeared off the stage after our last set at the Sweet & Hot Music Festival Sunday afternoon please return them? No questions asked.
