PASSION OF ST. BONO

I can’t believe that Bono actually got out of his chair to sing a line (“U2’s Mysterious Way,” by Robert Hilburn, Dec. 1). My God! Hilburn is right, his “passion” for music is staggering! I sure pray that his personal valet never misplaces the remote control.

It’s time for Hilburn and U2 to face reality and call it a day. They’re both so out of touch with passion and what it takes to put your soul on the line that it makes me sick.

In fact, if you will excuse me, I have to get off the couch and run to the toilet (talk about the passion)!
