Nationsbank Corp. said it completed its $9.8-billion acquisition of Boatmen’s Bancshares after the U.S. Supreme Court refused to block a move to keep the deal from going through. . . . Sunbeam Corp., the struggling appliance maker that recently underwent a massive restructuring, said it has signed six new global distribution agreements and rolled out 42 new 220-volt appliances in 10 international regions. . . . The Federal Reserve Board is expected today to propose making it more attractive for banks to enter the securities field by offering to loosen some of the rules that restrict bank holding companies from working with their securities affiliates.
