The Sylmar Independent Baseball League (SIBL) will take player sign-ups from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday and from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. every Sunday through Feb. 9 at the SIBL facility’s snack bar, located behind El Cariso Golf Course in Sylmar.
New team managers and coaches also are encouraged to apply. Information: (818) 367-7211.
* Openings are available for the Pete Kokon Open golf tournament on Feb. 10 at Calabasas Country Club to benefit the Pierce College baseball program.
